My background

I spent seventeen years in corporate environments, working across every type of business support role you can imagine, from office management to executive PA. And that’s where my understanding of how businesses actually work was built - in the middle of real organisations, solving real problems.

 

I moved into being self employed in 2014 as a VA, working closely with small business owners, often for years at a time. I got to know their businesses inside out, understood what they needed, and became the person they trusted and relied on to get things done properly.

 

After 8 or so years, my work naturally shifted. Clients started leaning on me more for strategy and operations, and I found myself not just doing the tasks but offering my perspective and shaping the thinking behind them. Around the same time, one client in particular spotted something I hadn't fully recognised in myself, a genuine creative ability, and gave me the space to explore it. That's when my digital design skills and platform knowledge really started to develop.

 

I began to notice that small business owners had brilliant ideas and real growth potential, but often no joined-up system to capture, nurture and convert the leads those ideas deserved. They were too busy to build it themselves and not quite sure where to start. That's when everything clicked into place.

 

Why this works

The service I offer now is the result of nearly 25 years of building skills that are rarely combined and delivered by just one person. Business strategy and operations from years at the corporate coalface. A deep understanding of small business from almost a decade working alongside owners at every stage and creative design ability developed and refined on the job. Finding the genuine love of the tech platforms that make it all connect was what brought it all together.

 

And that's why I know the Map, Create, Automate process works. It's not a service I designed and then learned to deliver. It's the natural result of everything I know, brought together into one joined-up system that gives your business exactly what it needs to grow.
